It's been an absolute whirlwind on the national level for politics. President Biden has accomplished an unprecedented amount of legislation and policy for Americans as well as the rest of the world. From expanding healthcare coverage, to aggressively combating climate change, to controlling prescription drug pricing, and fighting antisemitism and defending Israel, the list goes on and on. We will always be grateful. I applaud his strength and sacrifice, and the compassion and grace he always showed in his leadership. And like Joe Biden, I am ready to fight to elect Kamala Harris as our next President to keep the rights and protections of all Americans in place. Her story is an inspiration for me, Gloria and our daughters, as we too are an Asian-Jewish family. -- Greg |

As Newton and Brookline begin to mail out ballots to all eligible voters who have requested vote-by-mail ballots for the September 3rd primary, our campaign has made incredible gains in the past several weeks. Feel free to visit our website VOTE page here if you need guidance on Voter Registration or the Application to Vote-By-Mail deadline. It's been really busy on the campaign trail lately. Greg has: - attended a house party almost every other night (thank you SO MUCH to our amazing hosts!),
- excelled in more than 5 candidate forums and debates (if you want to watch the Chamber debate from last week, click here or read the coverage here),
- clinched his 86th endorsement from elected and local community members (with more elected officials than any other candidate in this race, and we're especially proud to have Ruth Balser's!),
- earned a major union endorsement from NAGE, with over 22,000 members representing more than 60 state agencies in MA (the National Assocation of Government Employees),
- raised more than $50K by the end of the quarter (and we're seeing more and more on ActBlue come in each day),
- sent out a campaign mailer to over 24,000 voters in the district,
but most importantly -- and this is what excites us the most -- as of today, the campaign has knocked 5,261 doors and already begun our third pass. That means not only have we made contact with over 5K households at least once, but more than 1,445 voters have answered their doors to speak with our campaign. And the response has been amazing. Progressive change starts at the grassroots, and #TeamSchwartz is winning overwhelming support at every level to get Greg elected our next State Representative for MA12. If you want to get involved and help out, sign up here to join the team and you can contribute to Greg's campaign here. The race is going to be incredibly close, and there's no better time to get your lawn sign delivered! -- Risha, Emily & Jack |

DEBATES With the primary just six (!) weeks away, the debates and forum cadence has picked up in earnest. I appreciate these opportunities to lay out my vision as your next State Representative, because they also allow me to distinguish my candidacy from my opponents. As the Massachusetts healthcare system enters another month in severe crisis, I am the only candidate in this race with the professional experience in healthcare legislation advocacy, elected representation and constituent services to prioritize people over profts. The Newton Beacon wrote up a piece about our most recent candidate debate that you can read here and watch here. |

MAJOR ENDORSEMENT FROM NAGE Another thing that sets me apart from my opponents is the endorsement I just received from NAGE -- the National Association of Government Employees, whose struggle for social and economic justice began nearly half a century ago by shipyard workers who organized for economic security, dignity and respect. Now, with over 22,000 members across more than 60 state agencies in Massachusetts, NAGE is comprised of public and private workers including federal, state, county, and municipal employees, police officers, firefighters, correctional officers, health care workers, nurses, paramedics and EMTs, office workers, and professional workers. NAGE represents the lifeblood of our state and local services. Without the tireless work of these men and women, Massachusetts would not be the shining beacon that it is. That they have decided to put their faith and trust in me, to represent and protect their dignity and the services they provide, and join them in improving the lives of workers and their families to create a more just and humane society, is an honor and privilege I will always keep with me no matter what. |
